Numb3rs: Season 4 Ep 1 Trust Metric
Charlie: It sounds like they created a classic game theory scenario, doesn’t it?!
Marshall: Yes, it does. Johnny von Neumann, the old three men gunfight.
Colby: Mathematical gunfight, huh?! Ooh…
Marshall: Imagine a duel between three people, okay? Now I’m the worst shot. I hit once every three tries. One of my opponents is better, hits twice every three shots. Third guy is a dead shot. He never misses. Come on. Now each gets one shot. As the worst, I go first, then Charlie, then Colby. Who do I aim for for my one shot?
Colby: I guess me ‘cause I’m the biggest danger, right?
Marshall: I shoot Eppesy first, but not for the obvious reason. Chances are two-to-one I’m gonna miss.
Charlie: And now it’s my turn. Logic says I shoot Colby.
Colby: Right. So if I’m still standing, I gonna shoot you. And I don’t miss.
Charlie: Exactly.
Marshall: As the worst, leaves the two better shooters against each other.
Numb3rs 5x10 Frienemies
Steve went shirtless a few times…also just wore T-shirt without any shirt over it a few times…but I never see any sign of him wearing his dogtags. He’s still in the Navy so I’d like to think he’ll still always be wearing it.
That’s just me though. I’m no military nor I am part of military family…but I think Colby (Granger/US Army PFC/FBI Agent - NUMB3RS) still wears his…well, at least the chain part of the dogtags was seen once coming out around his neck so technically it might not be his dogtags…

See what I mean? We assume it’s his dogtags (at least *I* assume) and I’m not even sure where he stands with the Army, Reservist or already discharged. I think, as far as I remember, it’s never mentioned…
.45 ACP Springfield Armory Custom TRP
(for the life of me, I can’t find an explanation specific to this gun other than it’s a variant of M1911)
Springfield Armory also has a well-known custom shop, where full-custom M1911A1s and semi-custom HS2000 pistols are built and modified. The custom shop’s most famous product is the Tactical Response Pistol Professional Model (formerly known as the Bureau Model), an M1911 variant. The TRP Professional was one of only two guns to pass the controversial trials set forth by the Federal Bureau of Investigation for a new pistol for its Hostage Rescue Team and SWAT teams.
Smith & Wesson 3913
(Like Springfield TRP, I can’t find any information specific to the gun.)
The Smith & Wesson 3913 “Ladysmith” is one of a long line of “Ladysmith” pistols, a line which includes revolvers as well as semiautomatics. The intention was to make stylish slimline firearms designed for smaller hands.
